About Us

Tarapur Social Development Society ( TSDS ) is working from 2001. Since its formation the activists are carrying the torch of education and plans in their hands to spread the light of development in their villages namely, Since its formation the organization has concentrated towards the sustainable development of different vulnerable sections of the society with their prime focus on women and children. Today the organization is not only working in the field of spreading education but also making people aware towards their better health care, sanitation, earnings, medication, energy conservation techniques and their proper usage etc. With the mentioned vision and mission the organization is presently moving forward and will keep on its journey for the development of the village people.

Operation Area
At present TARAPUR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY has undertaken intervention in Birbhum and Purulia district of West Bengal. TARAPUR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY has undertaken some welfare & development activities for the backward classes. SC, ST, Minority and others economically disadvantaged communities since its establishment.

Target Group
Vulnerable families of the target villages with a prime focus on women and children of those families. Vulnerability includes economically poor, socially marginalized and physically less accessible to the existing services and schemes of the government.
